Douglas Labs Vitamin D 1000 IU

Douglas Labs Vitamin D supplement contains 1000 IUs of cholecalciferol, or Vitamin D3. Vitamin D3 is more effective at raising serum levels of Vitamin D than D2. As good sources of Vitamin D3 are fatty fish like salmon, herring, sardines, tuna, as well as egg yolks and liver, vegans and vegitarians must be especially cognizant of becoming deficient in vitamin D.
